Republic Sports Management is a sports agency that represents high profile Soccer players,
The Founder of Republic Sports Management previously worked for a larger sports agency and decided to start a boutique agency that would support his clients with a more personal approach, As a result the agency required an identity built from scratch, plus a website build and social media presence.
I met with the owner of the agency and had a long conversation about the goals of the business and how it need to be positioned in the market to differentiate itself.
Particularly in a market where trust can be an issue Republic wanted to position itself as a service that was not only trustworthy, but could support its client with loyalty and professionalism.
From there I went away and started to build some pillars for the brand and what the identity should convey to the marketplace.
We developed 4 brand pillars.
The question now was how do I build trust through a visual identity, the idea was advocacy and its clients being ambassadors for the brand,
The logo development was centred around the idea of strength, trust and success, The Shield motif not only being a metaphor for strength and loyalty but a common theme throughout soccer emblems. This seemed like the perfect marriage of concepts and a fitting logo for Republic
